About the Role
The Company is in search of a Dean for its College of Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Institute of Public Health. The successful candidate will be a visionary leader with a strong background in research, clinical training, and community health impact. The Dean will be responsible for strategic leadership in research and doctoral expansion, community impact, and population health programs. Applicants for the Dean position at the company should hold an earned doctorate or terminal degree in a relevant health discipline and have senior executive academic leadership experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Research 1 environments, be adept at complex budgeting, and have a proven ability to command national respect across academia, healthcare systems, philanthropy, and industry. The role requires a leader with a deep understanding of accreditation, particularly in pharmacy and public health, and a demonstrated commitment to community engagement and interprofessional education. The Dean will be expected to lead the College in achieving and maintaining national excellence in rankings, and accreditation, and in preparing the next generation of healthcare professionals.
