Job Title: Digital Marketing Specialist POSITION OVERVIEW: Optima Dermatology & Medical Aesthetics is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our collaborative, growth-focused marketing team. This is a producer role that plays a key part in driving new patient acquisition and retention through digital marketing initiatives.
The Digital Marketing Specialist will own the day-to-day execution on and optimization of paid Meta campaigns, Google Ads, Marketing Cloud, SEO strategy, and website updates. This is a highly collaborative role within the marketing business unit, partnering with other team members on the content calendar and new practice and provider launches. This position requires strategic and analytical thinking and strong attention to detail.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager and VP of Marketing, this individual will play an integral role in driving measurable growth and supporting new practice and provider launches across the organization. The primary responsibilities of the role are listed below:
Meta Ads Management + Optimization - Manage paid social advertising campaigns for Instagram and Facebook. Collaborate with marketing team on editorial/promotional calendar, creative assets and ad copy and regularly implement and test new digital ad content based on performance.
- Generate reporting for Meta ads and make recommendations on future campaigns to optimize ROI and pursue continuous improvement across digital campaigns.
- Stay informed on updates to platform algorithms and implement adjustments to ad campaigns to optimize performance.
Google Ads - Collaborate with marketing team and Google Ads consultant to ensure new Google Ads search & display campaigns are launched to support practice and provider launches
- Track and implement creative updates to Google Display ads and generate reporting on performance
- Meet with Google Ads consultant to understand optimizations and performance
SEO + Website - Update website, Google my business profiles and other online listings for all new practice and provider launches. Maintain accuracy ongoingly for digital assets.
- Manage ongoing enhancements to brand websites through content updates and regular audits of existing pages.
- Collaborate with Marketing team and external copywriter to assist with content production for blog articles, leveraging analytics to drive content creation, and updating content on the website.
- Manage day-to-day execution of SEO strategy through optimizations to the website and across digital presence.
- Provide reporting on key metrics using Google Analytics and performance tracking tools
Email Campaigns - Manage timely content planning of monthly email newsletters for multiple locations, collaborating with graphic designer on template designs and Marketing Manager and copywriter on content.
- Set up and schedule email newsletter sends and track email campaign performance within Marketing Cloud.
- Add new practices to existing Marketing Cloud journeys.
- Monitor and optimize existing automated email journeys, and collaborate with contractor and IT/data team to implement new automated journeys
Job Requirements - Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years in a marketing role.
- High proficiency in Meta Ads Manager.
- Hands on experience with web analytics and A/B testing tools.
- Knowledge of SEO factors and key algorithm updates is preferred.
- High attention to detail is required, must be thoughtful about promoting clear and accurate patient facing materials.
- Experience with email campaign platforms.
- Strong drive to analyze campaign performance and use findings to optimize future activations.
- Excellent written and oral communication including copywriting, proofreading, and editing social content and digital assets.
- Exceptional organizational skills, project management, detail oriented, excellent collaboration skills with a service-minded approach and ability work independently on prioritized tasks.
- Driven by a fast-paced environment and growing organization, with the ability to focus on multiple priorities and open to shifting focus as priorities change.
