A well-established and highly respected law firm is seeking a Legal Billing Specialist to join its collaborative billing team. Job Function:

• Process monthly pre-bills and finalize invoices in a timely and accurate manner
• Prepare and submit electronic invoices through multiple e-billing platforms
• Review and edit invoices in collaboration with attorneys and staff
• Ensure compliance with client billing guidelines and resolve billing discrepancies
• Post invoices and maintain accurate billing records
• Serve as a primary point of contact for billing-related inquiries
• Assist with training attorneys and staff on time entry and billing procedures
• Undertakes special projects and ad hoc reports as needed and/or requested

Job Requirements:

• 5 years of billing experience in a professional services environment, preferably within a law firm. Strong preference for candidates with direct legal billing experience.
• Experience with legal billing software such as SurePoint, Aderant, Elite, or similar is required. Candidates must have relevant billing systems listed on their resume to be considered.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
