Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Legal Support Staff professional to provide high-level administrative and operational support to attorneys and legal teams within a fast-paced Manhattan law firm.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide proactive administrative support to attorneys and legal staff
- Prepare, revise, and proofread legal and administrative documents
- Electronically file documents with courts and agencies
- Maintain organized electronic and physical case files
- Schedule meetings, conference calls, and appointments
- Track court dates, deadlines, and important milestones
- Enter attorney time and assist with billing support
- Track CLE credits and attorney compliance requirements
- Communicate with courts, attorneys, clients, and staff
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 3 years of legal administrative support experience
- Law firm experience strongly preferred
- Experience with court e-filing systems
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Professional demeanor and client-service mindset
PREFERRED:
- Experience with Kofax/Nuance, InTapp, LMS+, or iManage
- Experience supporting multiple attorneys
- Experience in litigation or corporate law environments
