What You'll Do - Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
- Assist providers with charting, histories, physical exams, assessments, and treatment plans
- Navigate lab reports, imaging studies, and medical records to support the provider's workflow
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation and uphold patient confidentiality at all times
- Collaborate with providers, nurses, and administrative staff to streamline operations and enhance care delivery
Who You Are - Pre-med, pre-PA, nursing, or healthcare student (or graduate) looking for hands-on clinical exposure
- Detail-oriented and an excellent listener with fast, accurate typing skills
- Comfortable working in a high-intensity environment, sometimes multitasking during live patient interactions
- Familiar with medical terminology and EMR systems (experience with [Epic, Cerner, etc.] a plus)

- Strong communication skills are required; must be able to effectively communicate thoughts and actions through various forms of communication including verbal, written and oral
- Strong interpersonal skills and computer literacy
- Committed individual who can prioritize their workload and manage conflicting demands in order to work efficiently
- Ability to work with highly confidential patient information
- Must be able to speak and interpret English fluently to perform documentation effectively
- Must be able to work at least two 8-hour shifts per week
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to type 40+ words per minute required
- Ability to hear with or without aides
- High school graduate or equivalent required, some college preferred
- Current or previous enrollment in Pre-Medical, Medical, or Nursing school preferred
- Medical terminology strongly preferred
