Job Title: Remote Medical Scribe Remote Company Overview: Lehrer Family Chiropractic is a leading chiropractic clinic located in Melville, New York. Our team of experienced chiropractors and healthcare professionals are dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients. Position Overview: The Remote Medical Scribe will work closely with our chiropractors to accurately and efficiently document patient visits. This is a part‑time, remote position, allowing for a flexible work schedule. Key Responsibilities: Use electronic medical record (EMR) software to document patient visits in real‑time Accurately transcribe physician‑patient interactions, including medical history, physical exams, and treatment plans Ensure all documentation is complete and accurate, following clinic guidelines and standards Communicate with physicians to clarify any unclear or missing information Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations Assist with administrative tasks as needed Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience as a medical scribe or in a healthcare setting preferred Familiarity with medical terminology and EMR software Excellent typing and computer skills Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask Ability to work independently and remotely Strong communication and interpersonal skills Must be able to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations Contract Details: This is a part‑time, remote position with a flexible work schedule. The Remote Medical Scribe will be required to work approximately 20 hours per week. Compensation will be based on experience.
