Job Description

Century Group's law firm client is needing a Legal Billing Specialist temporarily. You will play a crucial role in managing appeals, e-billing processes, and financial transactions within our legal practice. Your attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft programs, and ability to adapt to complex systems will contribute to the success of our billing operations. This position is starting ASAP. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $38.46 to $43.96 per hour.

• Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders daily to resolve submission processes.
  
  
• Process, upload, and submit appeals and adjustments to various legal billing portals.
  
  
• Maintain a monthly checklist of appeals due for all six legal billing portals.
  
  
• Provide weekly reports on missing, adjusted, and attention-needed invoices.
  
  
• Assist with email submissions based on workflow requirements.
  
  
• Conduct online training sessions on billing portals for interested team members.
  
  
• Support Accounts Receivable (AR) and Billing functions as needed, including collections (if time permits).
  
  
• Oversee e-billing site management, including updating timekeeper status, rates, budgets, and user profiles.
  
  

• Solid organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  
  
• Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  
  
• Willingness to learn and adapt to moderately complex computer systems.
  
  

• 3-5 years of experience in legal accounting or related field.
  
  
• Bachelor's degree is highly preferred.
