The successful candidate will possess extensive knowledge of the Science of Reading, structured literacy practices, and the developmental progression of reading acquisition, including phonological awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. Conduct literacy assessments; analyze student data, deliver targeted interventions; develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Program (IEP) reading goals; collect and document progress toward IEP goals; collaborate with educators and families; support the implementation of research‑based literacy practices across the district. Massachusetts Reading Specialist licensure is required.
